September 17, 2013 -TREATS FOR THE TEACHERS!

Saundra Bergum of Cumberland and Brenda Blumberg of Turtle Lake who were inducted into Psi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, an international organization of honorary women educators, at the September 17 meeting held at Rolling Oaks in Barron.  Saundra taught both elementary and middle school students in the Hartland and Waunakee, Wisconsin, areas.  Brenda both taught and supervised programs for early childhood education in the Burnsville, Minnesota, area.

On September 17 at their regular meeting DKG – Psi Chapter members celebrated members’ September birthdays, especially Millie Carlson’s 99th birthday.
 
 
TREATS FOR THE TEACHERS PROJECT
Psi Chapter members brought goodies to fill the Treats For The Teachers boxes to the September meeting.  After the regular meeting Psi Chapter members delivered the boxes to 12 area elementary schools.  The boxes were placed in the teachers' lounge as treats for the teachers.  Included in each box with the snack food was literature about Delta Kappa Gamma and details about the literary contest.
